Caregivers recommended by Telemarias are trained to care for individuals suffering from serious or chronic illnesses or facing specific situations, such as:
- Bedridden, especially those with functional or cognitive dependence;
- Restricted mobility requiring assistance when walking outside the house;
- Post-surgery, needing support in medication management, mobility workouts and caring of patients cleanliness during recovery;
- Dementia: requiring cognitive rehabilitation and appropriate strategies to facilitate routine tasks;
- Total dependence due to serious illnesses.

The tasks performed may vary according to the patient's needs and the care plan established by the medical staff, but typically include:

monitoring the patient's condition: caregivers supervise the physical and emotional condition of the patient and report any changes to the health staff responsible for treatment;

- medication: caregivers may be responsible for managing medication and monitoring side effects;

- performing prescribed treatments: pay attention and caring for bedsores and injuries, compress application as well as other therapeutic treatments prescribed by doctors;

- providing emotional support: an important task, helping patients dealing with stress, anxiety and loneliness associated with illness;

- assisting with daily activities: these activities primarily require feeding, bathing, grooming and mobility assistance;
